I tried out my new F2 Lightning 288 (a hybrid board a cross between a formula and an old style long board).I used it with 8.5 and went really well for the first hour then the wind dropped.I tried my carve 145 but struggled for a couple of hours ,then the wind filled in and I was planning well for a couple of hours - would have been better if the sun was out !!!!!!
